The Hanging Team

What help is needed?

We are a core team of artists who need a couple of volunteers each year. Starting at 9am, we work through until it’s done, stopping briefly for lunch. Working in pairs, we position over 250 pieces of art together with labels and artists’ biographies – and set the sales desk up, making everything perfectly ready to open on the Monday morning. You need to be able to commit to the whole day, be fit and able (low ladder climbing and lifting involved) and enjoy working in a team. The team is led by artist Jackie Garner.

Saturday 22nd November 2025, 9am – 6pm – though, usually, we finish a little earlier (our record is 4pm).
