Wendy balances life as an actuary and an artist. After studying art at school, she pursued maths and actuarial science, spending 30 years away from painting before rediscovering it while decorating her home. Encouraged by a colleague, she joined the Lloyd’s Art Group and now creates vibrant, textured acrylic works on canvas. Her paintings often feature rich layers and bold colour combinations that convey energy and depth.

Professionally, Wendy has worked in the Lloyd’s market since 1999, starting with the Corporation of Lloyd’s and progressing through international insurers and syndicates. She is now with LCP, advising clients on capital modelling and model validation.
