I worked for 22 years for Euler Hermes, now Allianz Trade, until I retired in December 2021. I spent the last 12 years as Product Manager and Head of Wordings for the then World Agency, now Multinational. Since February 2022, I have been working part-time with Aon Trade at the Leadenhall Building, as a Wordings Specialist.

As I was nearing retirement and just before the Covid pandemic, I took up painting, attending various art classes. Coming from the Mediterranean, I am fascinated by light and bright colours. I now paint mostly in acrylic as I like to use thick paint, as in the impressionist style of painting.

I like to experiment with mixed media and different subjects and moving more towards abstract theme. I want to make use of my Maltese heritage and perhaps paint more from the heart rather than the brain and just reproduce in my own way, what I see around me.
