I currently work in the IT department at Brit Insurance but, in my spare time, am a mixed media artist. I enjoy painting portraits, both human and animal, though more recently have been doing sea scapes, sunsets and also a lot of clay work. I was Brit artist of the year 2014 for my portrayal of ‘BBQ sausage with beer’ and have dabbled with watermelon carving; a wonderful medium except for its obvious lack of longevity.
