Twenty six years ago I did a small painting of my niece and from there my career as a portrait painter took off. I have since moved on to become a largely figurative and landscape artist working mainly in oils although I still do the odd portrait if I’m asked! I am self taught and spend my day working in my studio listening to the radio and making a huge mess! I’m fascinated by the human form and at the moment I am concentrating on a series of paintings of dancers exploring their incredible strength and grace.
