I am a former Lloyd’s broker who used to place international Energy and Construction business into Lloyd’s syndicates before switching to the underwriting side.

In recent years, I have developed my artistic skills and have attended various art exhibitions in Europe, including the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris earlier this year. It was only recently, after coming from another exhibition in the south of France, that the Lloyd’s Art Group was raised in conversation. Having worked in the Lloyd’s market for decades, I thought it would be a perfect idea to join and support this group as an artist.

I hold Lloyd’s as a very important part of my life. My husband, who I met in the Lloyd’s market, is a former Active Underwriter and Managing Director of a Lloyd’s Managing Agent and has worked in the City since 1971. My stepson has been a Lloyd’s broker for over 25 years.
