Whilst working as a trade credit Underwriter at Allianz, I enjoyed painting and photography as hobbies and I worked in the industry for 10 years. I collaborated with the Chartered Insurance Institute and helped promote their Discover Risk initiative in schools.

My initial attraction to this field started after researching my indentured family history and I have spent years searching for pieces of identity in the archives.

After having a family, I realised that I wanted to pursue a creative path and I am currently studying at the Royal College of Art, using my archive to create works to explore unknown histories.
