My photography revolves less around themes or subjects and more on composition and colour so I have a mix of abstract, urban landscapes, countryside images and street scenes with people going about their day. I see things very abstractly so for example if a street sign, person, car or even the form and colour of a bin balances out and enhances the composition I will use it and treat it as importantly as say the building which may be the focal point of the image.

Having said that, I particularly enjoy seeking out the contrasts of old and new materials or old weathered materials or structures that are being reclaimed by nature. For me they always seem to hold greater depth in value, hue and texture while chronicling the passing of time.
