Lucinda Watt

I have been a member of the Lloyds Art Group since 2010. My fascination with art and painting began at an early age inspired by my grandma who painted and exhibited professionally. After experimenting at college with different mediums and techniques, I went on to study Art History and take inspiration for my own artwork from the great masters of art including Bridget Riley, David Hockney and Georgia O’Keefe.

After graduating with a First, I have continued to paint avidly using acrylic and watercolour, taking private commissions, exhibiting nationally and winning awards. I sell paintings and prints through Saatchi Online as well as my own website, and have also exhibited at St-Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square, Battersea Arts Centre, London City Airport, Landmark Art Fair in Teddington, and Reading and Windsor Art Fairs - to name a few!

Now painting at my home in East Sheen, the proximity to the urban landscape of Central London and Richmond’s opulent variety of landscapes and wildlife is a big inspiration for my art. With a passion for landscapes I have particularly enjoyed the latest craze for outdoor painting challenges and have taken part in Pintar Rapido in Chelsea, and Windsor & Eton Plein Air in Her Majesty’s garden at Windsor Castle.
