I have become an artist later in life having worked as a regeneration and town planning expert for over 20 years. My art work is based on my personal experiences including anti-racism, feminism, London, conservation and environmental issues. I am primarily working in 2D although in a wide range of media including drawing, painting, printmaking and photography.
This year I’m exhibiting at Lloyd's a series of prints inspired by London. Some work focuses on the cranes on construction sites which are a symbol of change and growth but which also become quite beautiful, kinetic and sculptural features of our skyline. Other works focus on the great buildings of our city, both new and old.
