I come from a long line of actors, and followed in the family tradition.
After bringing up my children, I trained at Heatherley’s College of Art. Working mainly in oil, my subjects include still life, urban scenes and landscape, with a stab at portraiture.
My next project is to attempt to return to my roots, go back stage, and record life behind the proscenium.
I exhibit regularly with The Lloyds’ Art Group and The Chelsea Art Society. In 2003 I had a painting accepted by The Discerning Eye at the Mall Galleries and in 2009 by The Thompson Gallery as part of A day in the Life of Aldeburgh celebrations. In June 2010 I shared an exhibition with Lamorna Good at The Aldeburgh Gallery.
I am part of The Aldeburgh Studio Trail which takes place during the Music Festival, with a spin off mixed exhibition as a 'taster' in March at The Aldeburgh Gallery. I am also a member of The Fulham Art Society.
