Growing up I loved pencil drawings and modelling clay. Whilst photography was never a huge interest, at a young age my father had started to take photographic courses and always thought I had a good ‘eye’ for the perfect photo – often to his annoyance.
I took up photography as a hobby a couple of years ago and take an interest in all types of pictures from landscapes, children’s faces at parties which fill the whole frame to droplets of water and the intimate details of flowers. The North Norfolk coastline has been inspiring for my landscape work capturing the reflection of boats and spectacular sunsets along the vast white sand beaches and dunes. I also have a love of animals and Max my black Labrador has provided many opportunities to capture the joy a pet can bring which can be seen in an image on this website. My shots are never posed so they capture the more natural features of faces and moments in time.
