Since given a Praktica fully manual SLR as a teenager I have pursued my passion for photography. Over the years my camera has led me all over the world so much of my work is themed on travel, landscape and wildlife however more recently I have become more UK Landscape based. As well as being a regular exhibitor with the Lloyds Art Group I exhibit in various venues and participate in Open Studio events as well as having previously exhibited on a regular basis with two galleries where I live in Kent. I have enjoyed several accolades, both national and global, which include amongst others having been a finalist in the Travel Photo of the Year award, commendations in the Landscape Photographer of the Year award and having been a finalist in BBC’s Countryfile Photographic competition. I was also honoured to have received the Miller Prize at the 2012 Lloyds Art Exhibition – the first photographer in the history of the exhibition to receive the award. By day I work as a Claims Adjuster for British Marine (part of the QBE Group).
