I have been interested in painting and print making for many years. At school, l spent my free time in the Art Department trying to create works of art. I lived in Italy for over twenty years where l had my own studio, transferring my designs onto linen for Italian ladies to hand embroider. I restored small statues and built a cottage industry of arts & crafts. I then moved back to the UK where l worked for ten years in a local grammar school in the Creative & Performing Arts faculty. I won The People’s Choice in a local exhibition in 2022 and in 2024 two of my paintings were selected by John Henry Wonnacott CBE for the 60th Essex Open Art Exhibition in the Southend Beecroft Art Gallery.

l worked for Lloyd’s Register of Shipping in the MDAPAD dept.
