Charlotte Crofts-Bolster

Painting has always been a central part of my life and the source of joy, relaxation and exploration. Predominantly working with oil, I studied art throughout my school years but continued to practice long after leaving the classroom. Now I work on commission, specifically for my ‘Tipsy Turvy’ series of drink and animal paintings which I began in lockdown. Starting out as a comedic play on how animals would interact with particular drinks based on similarities in aesthetic or character, I now create custom paintings which incorporate particular beverages, animals or pets close to my client’s hearts to make fun but uniquely personal pieces. I also love painting larger scale landscapes, especially featuring scenes of dusk and dawn where I can play with colour, texture and long sweeping brushstrokes

Charlotte works as a catastrophe analyst for AEGIS London.
