Stained glass

I love working with stained glass: the stunning colours and textures, the changing quality of light passing through each piece, and the joy of creating something beautiful.

The majority of my work uses the Tiffany copper foil method which allows a level of intricacy and detail that cannot be matched by leadwork. I started small, making Christmas decorations for donations to charity during the pandemic. I still enjoy making these now but I have also progressed to larger pieces: panels for hanging or standing, as well as lamps and candleholders.

I have worked in the Lloyd’s market for a number of years, currently as Business Architect at Ascot Underwriting.
