I only picked up a camera at the end of 2008 so I’m still very much learning the art of photography. I’m very driven and my one ambition in photography is to make pictures rather than simply take them. From the moment I took the plunge and bought a DSLR I found I really enjoyed trying to make creative images and trying to develop a photographer's eye. My keen interests are people and landscapes, people as I love meeting anybody and everybody is unique which in theory means endless possibilities for photographs. With landscapes I love the way the colours can change the same scene at various parts of the day which again makes for more endless possibilities! Bizarrely I like the frustrating elements of photography, sometimes it’s all working for you and you still miss a shot. Other times it all seems to go wrong but yet you get a terrific frame. You just never know. I guess to sum up - the one sure fire way to get nothing is not to bother looking Regrettably I haven't had the time throughout 2009 to get out and take many photos, but I'm really hoping to crack on in 2010 and take my pictures to the next level.
