I have held a life long facination and passion for nature and, since purchasing my first DSLR back in 2008, I have spent much of my spare time watching and photographing wildlife.  

Using my knowledge of a subject, together with careful planning and fieldcraft, I seek not only to record the beauty of a species, but also to utilise the light, the seasons and the environment to create memorable and striking images.

I am self taught, and in 2010 I acheived the distinction of Associate of the Royal Photographic Society.

Based in Essex, a lot of my photographs are taken locally, although I do travel to Norfolk as often as I can and also to Scotland.
